Australia’s largest community of optometrists
As the profession’s peak body, Optometry Australia represents the largest community of optometrists in Australia. Because we are 100 per cent owned by our members, no other organisation understands optometry like us or has a more influential voice. Since 1918 we have united the sector to make Australia a world leader in the delivery of vision and eye health services and patient care.
As we represent the majority of optometrists, when we speak key influencers listen and this is why we are effective at delivering the necessary policy changes that protect, grow and progress our sector.
As a member, you help to strengthen our voice and advance our sector through the delivery of a range of activities designed specifically to lead, engage and promote optometry, optometrists and community eye health and vision care. The more we can work together the more influence we can have over the future of our profession.
