Do you have optometry books you can donate to a good cause? The first School of Optometry in Vietnam has just opened and its students are in great need of optometry books and equipment.

Jessie Huang, Carina Trinh and other volunteers will be travelling to Vietnam this month and can take books with them. Jessie is the Optometry Support Officer at the Brien Holden Vision Institute Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Carina is the chairwoman of Young Optometrists NSW.

This is a list of the books they need.

Carina will be leaving for Vietnam on 14 October and would like your donations to be delivered to her before that date. To donate your books, contact Carina at trinh.carina@gmail.com and she will provide her home address for delivery.

Jessie can be contacted at jessie.huang@brienholdenvision.org. For information about optometry development in Vietnam visit www.brienholdenvision.org.
