How to find a CPR course near you

You can complete a CPR course by any provider listed on the training.gov.au website (eg. Red Cross, Surf Life Saving, St Johns).

To find a provider, go to www.training.gov.au and click on "courses and training providers".

On Australia's Directory of Training, search for "Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation" and then select SA.

You can hone in on a provider nearest to you by selecting a suburb and "within x km" on the left hand side.

Local CPD

Optometry SA hosts SA Blue Sky Congress in Adelaide every year. This is SA's number one conference for optometrists who love a high-quality and entertaining CPD event. International and local presenters promise a breadth of new ideas and practical take-home messages which delegates can implement in their practice the next day.

In addition to this, Optometry SA partners with the Cornea & Contact Lens Association of Australia (SA) to provide a further 3 high quality, local events.

Optometry SA aims to collaborate where possible with other providers to ensure that members have access to a range of quality CPD points during the year, ample to meet OBA registration requirements. As a result, we will promote events hosted by other providers as we know about them.

Please let us know of any event that you know about to ensure we co-ordinate events effectively, in addition to sharing your ideas on what CPD you would like to be available.
